No nursing school worries….
So what does Pinkkactis do? Chill while drinking coffee and watching the Today show.
I’m going to be heading to a friends place here in a little bit to enjoy some celebratory mimosas, since everyone in our study group did well and passed!
We are also going to head to see a friend who was in nursing school with us during the summer semester. She took off for fall semester because of pregnancy. Whelp…she had her beautiful baby boy!! I’m so excited!
It’s so nice to not be stressed…..even if it’s only for a few days!
I’m up early for no reason…..
Since I’m up, I guess I’ll brew some coffee & work on studying my Psych meds. Antidepressants, anxiolytic, mood stabilizers, Antipsychotics oh my!
These VIA® Iced Coffee by Starbucks has been my GO TO drink during these last few weeks. Nursing school take a lot out of me, and I’m not always able to make a fresh pot of coffee when I want. These little packets are PERFECT! I also pack them in my clinical bag and drink an iced coffee during my break. They are tasty and give me the right amount of caffeine to keep me going. ^_^
Clinical Paperwork Problems
I went to the hospital around 2:30pm yesterday (6-7-12) to obtain my data for pre-assess. I didn’t leave until 5:15pm! I started working on the care plans & crap as soon as i got home, around 5:30pm. I was up past midnight completing the said clinical paperwork, & I was finally able to lay down around 12:30pm. It took me a while to fall asleep because my stupid mind wouldn’t shut up, so I doubt I even had 3 hours of sleep. I’m in need of a bunch of coffee, and I will be having a nap when I get home! ON MY WAY TO CLINICAL NOW (6-8-12). =\

Change of scenery today while studying my cancer packets. Sitting out on the balcony of our apartment enjoying the nice weather before it turns 100 degrees in Memphis again. =P Reading nursing school stuff and drinking delicious coffee from Dean’s Beans.
#COFFEE!!! Hooray for nectar of the gods supplying me with caffeine!
