Hail to the VP!!!
So…….I won. I am Vice President of Southwest Tennessee Community College Student Nurse Government Association. One of my study besties is one of the 3rd semester representatives! This will automatically make me President next semester! W00T!!

Now back to reality. I have a mental health exam next week, and being VP isn’t going to make the grades for me. LOL
This is a little more aesthetically pleasing, and may be more appropriate to hang in our classroom. LOL!! I wouldn’t be easily confused with a mentally ill patient as with my other “political” poster.
My political poster for Student Nursing Government Association. I was nominated by my peers for the Vice President position. I need ALL the nursing students at Southwest Tennessee Community College to VOTE FOR KACTIS! Fall Semester 2012
I was nominated by my peers for Vice President of our Student Nurse Government Association. I figured this would make for a great political poster. I’m sure I will get votes with this. LOL!!!
The break between summer semesters wasn’t long enough….
Back to the nursing school grind today! This semester I have 1 class and 1 clinical, both are Nursing for the Childbearing Family. Today is clinical orientation at school. Fun fun!

Dosage Final and HESI
I am finished with this semester!!! I had my dosage final today, and I feel I did well. I’m holding an ‘A’ in the course, and the final was pretty straight forward.
I did better on the dosage HESI. I made a 957. I’m pretty happy with that.
NOW ON TO OB NEXT WEEK!!!
I get to chill (while drinking adult beverages) and not study until Thursday!! W00T!!
Final Transition grade
The final was something else, but the grades just posted.
I PASSED

I made an 81%!!! I finished this course with an 82% overall. I’m so happy and excited. Our next assigned course is OB. I can’t wait to get started again next week.
I still have a Dosage final and HESI this coming Friday, but I’m good with that course.
Transition final today….
Transition class is a major class for the LPN mobility track. It basically combines nursing fundamentals and adult 1 together to form one class for the LPN to RN student. Thing is, this class is VERY condensed and very fast paced. It’s only a month course to relearn everything I initially learned 9 years ago.
If the LPN to RN student doesn’t pass transitions, they are kicked out the the mobility track. If that student chooses, they can reapply for the general track program. You are only allowed to apply/be accepted to the LPN mobility track once.
I’m doing ok in this class, but this final is worth 35% of our overall score. I CAN DO THIS!!!
By the way, I took my first HESI yesterday……. I’m not quite fond of that test right now.

Ignore the ‘D’……. Anything below a 78% is considered a ‘F’. There is no such thing a ‘D’ in nursing school………. LIFE OF A NURSING STUDENT!
Nursing School clinical attire for Southwest Tennessee Community College. I make this uniform look hawt! admit it! YUP. LOL Apparently my cat Orion was wanting to be in the picture as well. =P
Nursing School Begins Tomorrow
I’m all packed & ready for my first day of nursing school tomorrow. I’m nervous as hell, but I’m ready!
